With its many unique standard features, our all-new 20 will definitely join our Mercury line-up as # 1 on the Water. In competitive tests, the 20 Mercury out-performed Yamaha in fuel economy, coming in at 17.5 MPG versus Yamaha's 16.2 MPG. Standard equipment on our 20 HP Mercury includes a multi-function tiller with the shift in the handle, automatic reverse lock system, folding tiller arm, convenient tiller lock-up, and chock and primer with fast idle control, which are not available on Yamaha, Honda, or Tohatsu. Other features included on the Merc 20 are dual water pickups in the gear case and low vibration mount systems, which are not available on Yamaha or Honda.
